Born in Australia. Tresor Murace Lives and works on the traditional lands of the Gadigal People Sydney, Australia. She draws upon her rich Italian heritage to infuse her large-scale portraits (200cm x 150cm) with a profound sense of passion and determination. She pursued her artistic education at the National Art School in Sydney, Australia. Completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from (2020 to 2023), and now enrolled in a MAsters of Fine Arts (MFA) at the National Art School (2024-2026) majoring in oil painting with a strong focus on hyperreality.

Her practice entails photographing her own reference imagery to contribute rather than to consume. She captures the images of either herself or friends using various coloured LED lights to cast ambiguous shadows and experimental colour schemes. Her recent body of work Saturated Generation works share the DNA of colour vibrancy and scale.

Tresor's affinity for oil painting blossomed within her studies of the BFA when she delved into the writings of theorists Jean Baudrillard and Isaac Newton. She became captivated by Baudrillard's Simulacrum concept, exploring the contemporary cultural relevance of these ideas, and Newton's examination of human perception of light versus its depiction in art.

Tresor participated in her first group exhibition in (2022) called ‘Choreography of Protest’ at National Art School, Sydney. She co-curated her first group exhibition such as ‘Nous’ at Good space gallery, Sydney (2023). Her work has also found its place in private collections across Australia.

Tresor's practice is a testament to her embrace of the hypermediated world, and her art reflects the vibrancy and dynamism that permeate contemporary culture, inviting viewers to engage with its vivid narratives.
